C.D. Leganés and PUMA unveil the 2026/27 home kit, a tribute to the historic 2016 promotion

C.D. Leganés presents its new home kit for the 2026/27 season, the first designed by its new official technical partner, PUMA. A very special jersey that pays tribute to one of the most important moments in the club’s recent history: promotion to LaLiga on June 4, 2016.

To mark the tenth anniversary of that unforgettable achievement, the club and PUMA have brought back the essence of the shirt worn by the team in that historic match at Anduva. The result is a kit that connects past and present, reinforcing the identity and sense of belonging of the blue-and-white family.

The new jersey largely respects the original design from that season, highlighted by a more prominent central blue stripe that becomes the key visual element. It also features elegant gold details on the PUMA logo on the sleeves and on the collar, adding a distinctive commemorative touch.

As a new feature, the shirt includes a closed round collar with a gold-toned button—blending tradition and modernity while enhancing the exclusive feel of this special edition. 

Technology and sustainable innovation with high-performance materials

As part of PUMA’s commitment to sustainable innovation, the jersey incorporates RE:FIBRE technology, enabling garments to be made with 95% recycled polyester sourced from textile waste and other polyester materials. This process allows for repeated recycling without compromising quality, helping reduce dependence on virgin resources and moving the textile industry towards a more circular model.

The jersey also features PUMA’s exclusive dryCELL technology, which uses highly functional materials to wick sweat away from the skin, keeping players dry and comfortable during performance.
